Cold wash, inside out, by hand if you can be bothered. Hang it to dry. No bleach. The fade is already in and won't go much further. Paint and embroidery soften with wear; let them. Each piece page has its own line if there's more.
Hats: spot clean the brim and leave the rest alone.
